Ingredients: 

1/2 Cup of Melted butter


6 Tbsp of White sugar


1/2 Cup of Brown sugar


2 Tbsp of Soy Milk


1/2 Tbsp of Vanilla


1 Tsp of Baking powder


2 Cups of Flour


1/4 Tsp of Salt


3/4 Cup of Chocolate Chips


100g or Half batch of Our Caramel Sauce (see our salted caramel recipe)

Steps:

  1.  Add sugars, vanilla and soy milk to melted butter. Mix and set aside

  2.  Combine all dry ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a large mixing bowl

  3.  Combine wet and dry mixtures together and stir in chocolate

  4.  Line a small baking dish with baking paper and spread half of the cookie mixture evenly across the dish

  5.  Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the top and the add the remaining cookie mixture on top

  6.  Place in the fridge for 30mins to 1 hr to chill and set 

  7.  Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius 

  8.  Once chilled, remove from fridge and place in the oven for 25-35 mins or until top layer of the slice is cooked and has a nice golden colour

  9.  Remove from oven and allow to cool

  10.  Lift slice out of tray and slice. Enjoy!
